Meet the team
Tom Stachowski, PE President
Collaborative technical leader focused on schedule, delivery, and quality in a fast paced environment of mission critical facilities. Expertise in team building, mentorship, and training within global project and matrix based organizations. Enthusiastic leader, proven to meet commitments with integrity through innovation for customers. Understands and translates complex ideas into clear actionable items.
Tom was educated at Wentworth Institute of Technology and graduated with a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering. He has worked in OEM, vendor, and consulting organizations. Areas of specialty include data center, construction, hydraulics, and machinery. Sustainability and environmental impacts are areas of development he looks to focus on in the coming years.
He is a licensed professional engineer and active board member of 7x24 Exchange New England Chapter. He also holds memberships with ASHRAE and Infrastructure Masons. He enjoys mentoring and developing young professionals.
Tom spends free time with his family making frequent trips to the shoreline of Massachusetts. He is an avid gardener and bee keeper that takes special interest in natural habitats.
Andrea K. Schreck, MBA, MCPPO Technical Program Manager
Technical project/program manager and owner's representative for mission critical and industrial facilities. Project management experience in all capital investment projects and construction life cycle phases; scope identification, feasibility studies, design, bid, permit, construction and/or system integration, and closeout.
Experience in designer selection and bidding; RFQ/RFP/IFB, development of scope for bidding, and award of contracts. Lead pre-construction walkthroughs, issue of purchase orders, collect certified payroll, and owner signoff of contractor payment requisitions. Construction administration: create and maintain schedules, review and track change order content and costs, develop punch-lists, and verify execution of work and warranty claim issues.
Experienced professional in mechanical engineering, design and review of HVAC systems in healthcare, commercial, education and government facilities. Peer review of mechanical designs (Schematic Design through Construction Documents) and commissioning. Review of Building Management Systems (BMS) and field troubleshooting.
Andrea received a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering from University of Ottawa and her master’s of business administration with a focus on project and risk management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
Andrea spends her free time remodeling homes, dancing, and spending time with her children.
